The short film is about a young man going to pick up his date for prom. The young man sees his date’s father with a horse mask and goes through some off and uncomfortable settings. The young man is Michael Cera so you can imagine it’s gonna have his comedic acting.
It’s definitely a wtflick, but I enjoyed it immensely! I can’t wait to see how some more of his work goes.
When I say I’ve seen it all, that’s a big statement. But then I saw this. Pink Flamingos. How could a god create something so … pink-flamingo-ey. And why’s that dude got to fuck a chicken on the naked woman?
This acting is so awful, I don’t even have the words to describe it, and I’ve just come off a decent acid binge. For the time period, this movie was revolting, and that’s what it wanted to be. People loved it. Instant cult classic. For me however it was lacking, but who am I to say for a time period I wasn’t apart of.

What a nutty movie. What a nutty time period, the ’70s. Young Gérard Depardieu is amazing. From IMDB: A man walking on the beach near New York City finds the corpse of King Kong. He also finds Kong’s orphaned son, and takes it to a friend who lives in the city, and they decide to raise it.
I’ve love to see this pulled off now. The acting was great, story was great. A feminist theater company Depardieu sometimess works for was having troubles coming up with an idea. Someone mentioned rape as a subject. They tried to do a reverse rape on Depardieu, but they liked it heh. Interesting part of the movie.
There’s plenty of nudity in here, as well as Depardieu making out with a 60 year old woman. The ending was a bit dramatic, but I liked it.
One comment on IMDB hit it correctly: Is it another world, or our world gone mad?

I know most of you have seen Lock, Stock, And Two Smoking Barrels from Guy Ritchie, but this steps it up a notch. I can’t list all of the big name cast, there’s too many. Gerard Butler, Tom Wilkinson, Thandie Newton, Jeremy Piven, and hell, even Ludacris.
The plot doesn’t focus on a certain group over overall situation. That situation is a Russian mob boss trying to build a building in the UK. The top mob boss is the one that can make this happen. But due to unforseen events, things unfold not as they plan.
I definitely recommend this movie if you like the UK crime/action type movie. Top notch!
